Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 23, 2026

Dirty South Album Maker ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Phi Unit Research Partners Inc. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services.

1. Information We Collect

Photos you upload. When you use our album cover generator, you upload a photo. This image is sent to Google Gemini (a third-party AI service operated by Google) to generate your album cover.

Generated images. The album covers we create for you are stored temporarily using Vercel Blob storage so you can view, download, and (optionally) order merchandise. Generated images are automatically deleted within 2 hours of creation.

Usage data. We collect standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Your IP address is used to enforce our free-tier usage limits (via Vercel KV) and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment information. If you purchase credits or merchandise, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, bank account, or other financial details on our servers. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Shipping information. If you order a t-shirt, your name and shipping address are shared with Printful, our print-on-demand fulfillment partner, solely to deliver your order. Printful's handling of your data is governed by Printful's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your photos for training AI models. We do not serve targeted advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties, only as needed to provide the service:

4. Data Retention

5. Children's Privacy

Our service is available to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us at the email below. Because we retain minimal data and auto-delete images within 2 hours, in most cases there is little or no data to delete.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data we collect and the right to request its deletion.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 23, 2026

Welcome to Dirty South Album Maker ("the Service"), operated by Phi Unit Research Partners Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. What the Service Does

Dirty South Album Maker lets you upload a photo and generate a dirty south-style rap album cover using AI. You can download the generated image for free (subject to daily limits) or purchase additional credits. You can also order a t-shirt printed with your generated album cover.

3. Your Content

Photos you upload. You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you represent and warrant that:

Generated images. The album covers generated by the Service are yours to use for personal, non-commercial purposes (sharing on social media, printing for yourself, etc.). We do not claim ownership of generated images.

Prohibited content. Do not upload photos that contain illegal content, depict minors in inappropriate contexts, or are intended to harass, defame, or harm others. We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate access for violations.

4. Purchases and Refunds

Credit packs. Credit packs are digital goods. All credit pack purchases are final and non-refundable.

T-shirt orders. T-shirts are printed on demand by our fulfillment partner, Printful. Because each shirt is custom-made with your unique design:

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD.

5. Free Tier and Usage Limits

We offer a limited number of free album cover generations per user. These limits are enforced by IP address and may change at any time. Attempting to circumvent usage limits (through VPNs, bots, scripts, or other means) is a violation of these terms and may result in permanent access restriction.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its design, code, branding, and name — is owned by Phi Unit Research Partners Inc. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service. The album covers you generate are yours; the tool that makes them is ours.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated images will meet your expectations. AI-generated images may vary in quality and style.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phi Unit Research Partners Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Phi Unit Research Partners Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these terms.

10. Modifications

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Unused credits are non-refundable upon termination.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
